You can specify a default unit of measurement in Publisher, including inches, centimeters, picas, points, or pixels.

1. Click File > Options > Advanced.

2. Under Display, next to Show measurement in units of, select the unit of measurement you want to use.

2. In the Options dialog box, click the General tab.

3. In the Measurement units box, select the unit of measurement you want to use.

Note: Once you set a unit of measurement, you only need to type a number when you specify a measurement.
